I liked Seth Godin’s piece on Unselling. Particularly, his statement: “..spend the time, the effort and the money to teach me new information..” Why else would someone follow you when there are other, more influential and established “sellers” out there if you’re not providing something new in some way. I wonder, sometimes that new just might be you, your approach and your personality. Maybe they can connect with you for some reason more than the other person? Just food for thought.
